Ollivier AMARU (54) is a Master Mariner and has been Senior Pilot for over 20 years in the islands of French Polynesia.
His passion for the Cruise Industry sets up in the early 90s when he was already spending long periods cruising the islands of Tahiti piloting ships of various companies. From that time, and as they happened to sail together, Ollivier made friends with some of today’s major Executives in the Industry.
In 2010, Ollivier co-founded TAHITI CRUISE CLUB, and a year later the SOUTH PACIFIC CRUISE ALLIANCE both entities who have since chosen to have him for Chairman in regards to his strong commitment to the development of the cruise tourism in the South Pacific Islands.
Approaching the twilight of his active maritime career, Ollivier, together with his crew and partners will be more than happy to welcome you in Tahiti next October 16th/17th to the very first South Pacific Cruise Forum event.
